Vedic Culture is the culture of Aryans that relates to Vedas. As an ancient culture, it is closely linked with chanting mantras, offering prayers, and doing meditation and incantation. The majority of the known facts of Vedic Culture relate to Vedas.
“Veda” is the holy spiritual knowledge that was, in the initial stage, transmitted orally. It is the combination of the knowledge of all the four Vedas: Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, and Atharvaveda. Excepting Atharvaveda, the remaining three Vedas constitute trayi-vidya which, in the literal sense, means three-fold knowledge. The four Vedas are also referred to as “Vedic Samhitas”.
